THE CANS

air freshners in schoolsThe unit unlocks on the right hand side.  Insert the key fully and turn it 180º clockwise.  The lock may then be removed attached to the key.

Before inserting the new canister spray it manually two or three times.  Check that the arm in the unit which presses down on the can is not protruding downwards, if it is push it upwards into the Control Panel.  The can will then fit neatly into the unit, ensure that the ring just below the nozzle on the can fits above the silver collar inside the unit.

There is a small round black button at the top of the Control Panel with CLEAR written above it. This is a test button, when pressed the unit will then spray three seconds later.  This may need to be repeated two or three times to prime a new can.

CHANGING THE BATTERIES

The battery compartment is on the left of the Control Panel.

SETTINGS

There are two black switches on the Control Panel.

The top switch regulates the frequency of spray in minutes. The top setting is every 5 minutes, next every 10, next every 15, the bottom setting is every 20 minutes. Please choose according to your requirements.

The bottom switch regulates the time when the units are active, the top setting is 24 hour, the middle is daytime only, the bottom is night-time only. Unless the units are in a dark area the appropriate setting will be day, i.e. the units will spray at the chosen  frequency while it is light and shut themselves down when it is dark.

CHECKING THE UNIT

The red light that flashes every few seconds indicates that the unit is active and will spray at the chosen frequency. Occasionally there will be enough power left in the batteries to flash the red light but not enough to emit the fragrance.  If ever in doubt press the  CLEAR button to test.
